You get what you pay for. August 31, 2010 Shane M. Long The battery barely fit in my Canon charger and barely clipped into my T2i. The charging light didn't work on the charger nor did it indicate correctly on my camera. I returned the product and went with the Canon battery which works amazingly.
Short battery life August 30, 2010 Bucketfullofice Transaction went smoothly. Shipped on time and in good condition. However, this battery did not last at all on my Canon 550D. When battery level turned low (2nd level) camera just shut off and cannot be turned on at all. Oh well, $10 bucks..cant expect too much.
don't buy this August 27, 2010 alex I bought this battery in mid-April and three months later it completely fails. I probably didn't use this battery more than a dozen times, and I probably only charged it 4-5 times total. Now I can't return it and I'm out the $30. Don't waist your money.
Originally it didn't fit, but now it works okay August 26, 2010 Tal Givoly This is a replacement battery that costs 5x less than the OEM (Canon). While it eventually worked, it doesn't fit the charger well, nor does it easily fit in the camera. Minor shape differences make it difficult to close camera or remain in charger. I pushed, and it is now "easier". But still not perfect. But it does do the job and retains power well. Risky but eventually works.
I mistakinglly filed an issue with the seller rather than the product, and the seller, TheMemStore, offered to replace it or have it returned. However, I decided to keep it - as it "does work", but not a perfect fit. Still worth the money.
The battery does not fit in my Canon August 25, 2010 Tinman I bought 3 power2000s. It does not fit in my Canon T2i. Power2000 should not advertise the battery as a replacement for LP-E8 when it physically does not even fit in the camera. I ended up threw the batteries away. The price is good but you will waste your money to buy the cheap product you can not use.
