Yes, for such a small piece of plastic it is expensive, you don't really need it, It just help protect the camera and the LCD screen, but if you beating up the camera so much you might as well protect as much as you can, and better the platic then the screen, Good product, bad price but still need to protect the screen. plastic sheets don't protect the screen as well and does does not address the fact that you need to take better care of expensive equipment.

Obtaining a cover replacement for my camera was excellent as the original one was scratched with use.

My original Nikon BM6 Monitor Cover is scratched and showed signs of wear on my Nikon D200-so a replacement protective cover was needed. Although I think this is a little expensive for a piece of plastic-it is added protection to the screen it covers which would have been a lot more expensive to replace should something happen to it without the added proetction of this plastic protective cover. Beacuse it's made by the original manufacturer-it snaps on perfectly and "locks-on" tight as the original did. It was shipped very fast from Amazon, I would buy from this vendor again. I would have given it five stars if it were priced a bit less (including the shipping), but then again, I wouldn't mind buying a pack of six of these for my Nikon D200 for say $5.00 each for the future. Thanks!
