What surprised me about this kit, was the bag, which is functional, strong, and versatile. The tripod could be better, but would work in a pinch. The cleaning items work and the 4g card is large enough for you to click away for hours. Good value for your money, especially if you are just starting your photography adventure and do not have any of these items.

the things that i liked about this kit was the 4gb sd card and the nikon bag. the tripod felt a little too much like a toy from what i'm used to, and the battery is 3rd party. it doesn't last long at all. the card reader is okay but isn't as nice as the one in the picture shown. The software given is pretty much useless and everything else is practically not needed especially if you are like me and prefer to get genuine products for your camera. to some it all up

Nikon Bag is big enough to carry a few lenses with the camera and a few more accessories

plastic feeling tripod

everything else is not needed.

I recieved the Nikon D40 accessory kit in 3 days with the express shipping. I feel I got a good deal for what was offered. The Nikon camera bag is excellent and the 4 gig SD card will hold about 2100 digital images. The tripod is a good starter item. All in all I was quite pleased.
