Excellent product. I have owned this for over a year. It replaced the original that I lost and it works wonderfully. It recharges my camera battery in a few hours with no problem. It still works so I am not complaining. The car charger is a plus. I used it a lot when I was moving and needed to take a lot of pictures. It easily recharged my camera battery and I was using my camera in no time.

This charger may work, however; it is not compatible with the Sony NP-BK1 battery. It is unfortunate that it is listed as being so.

I had misplaced the original battery charger that came with the camera I purchased. I was looking through Sony directly to buy another one, but they are going for $60+ in price. Then I thought to just search for other brands and hope they were reliable.
I stumbled upon this item for way less, I was so glad the seller got it to me before the delivery estimate that was provided as well, and I am VERY thankful that it works great! It even has the option to be a car charger! I hope this item works out until it's time for a new camera!

This is not he real charger. It does not work at all. When you plug it into the electrical outlet, it just uses up your electricity and the charging light goes on with out a battery in it. When battery is put in, it doesn't charger. It isn't the SONY Brand. Was created fake. So ridiculous.

Many new low-cost cameras/camcorders ship with a "travel charger" only. That is, you have to remove the battery from the device and insert into the travel charger. (In the past, devices often had some method of A/C power plug-in to perform charging while the battery is in the device.)
I have found in my travels that having several extra travel chargers is very helpful, specially when it has a car adapter.
My new Sony Webbie camcorder uses "Series K" battery and hence, I added this recharger to supplement the one which is included with the camcorder. One for home, one for running-around.
This chargers works well and I can recommend it.
