Product Description Hoods are one of the most important accessories for each lens you own. A lens hood provides multiple functions: it shades the lens from stray light, improving your contrast and image quality; in inclement weather, it can assist in keeping moisture or wind-blown debris off the lens; and it protects the front barrel from the inevitable impacts against walls, door frames, and other real-life obstacles. This hood is compatible with EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM.

Good product January 8, 2009 S. Srinivasan Canon ET67 Lens Hood for Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM Lens Nice hood for my macro lens. Helps me get great macro shots.
a good hood November 18, 2008 pebblepuppy (Missouri) It fits like a glove. It's pretty big though. The inside is a little fuzzy and attracts dust, but at least it's there and not on my lens. I usually keep my 100mm lens on my Canon Rebel, but it won't fit in my bag with the hood on. Instead of reversing it, I found the hood fits nicely in my camera bag if I slip it down over my 50mm lens (with it's hood on) in the side pocket. It works to protect the 50 and rides well there.
Well, my Macro Lens needs it!! September 24, 2008 Ms. Jessica Cheng (los angeles, ca usa) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's too $$$$ for a little black plastic, but I need it for my lens.
Overpriced, but genuine Canon build June 25, 2008 Rugersix (SAN FRANCISCO, CA USA) Should have come with the lens, but then, the lens would simply have had a higher price, right?
Working good) April 5, 2008 Kai-yuan Shih (Tallahassee, USA) Working good but ugly looking, no indicator for assembling, really bad surface material (scratch easily)
