Nikon ML-L3 for the D60-90 March 9, 2010 G. M. Ator (Sacramento, Ca.) Again the camera store said... these must be referbished or used as they couldn't match the price found on Amazon... Not only that but the camera store didn't have any in and wanted me to come down and pre-pay for it and the shipping. NADA got it from amazon and its new new... not referbished as the camera store said it would be. I found that they try to intemadate you into buying it from them at a higher price .. than to tell the truth and you get it from amazon...
Fast and great remote to be in the picture with... works off of IR so it has to be looking at the camera to fire it off.. but has about 15 ft range... enough for everyone to be in the picture... kinda thing.
Good deal.. recommend it to anyone looking for a remote that will work their nikon.. of course its got Nikons name on it.. sooo any questions...
Recomend it to any and all that are into photography... using a remote fire camera. (nikon)
Simple & Cheap March 4, 2010 Matthew For under $20, it was perfect for Xmas. It's simple to use & it's wireless! The only thing I found myself doing making sure I pointed the remote to the correct side of the camera to hit the sensor. Sometimes it wouldn't go off then I'd have to point it more directly & it would work. The range is good. I had it taking shots from about 30ft away. It's also convenient for taking those long exposures without having to set the timer (of course so you don't get any movement on the camera). Also works great for getting in the picture with the family! So far...so good!
duck March 3, 2010 Kenneth Fehrenbach I am not pleased because it dosent work with my camara as stated with Nikon book however I am going to try it on another nikon product when it gets in to see if it is the make which is making this product inservicable. I am not ready to tthrow in the towel yet
good product for my needs March 1, 2010 Thomas J. Washington (AUSTIN, TX, US) I'm no expert, but for my needs this is a great little remote. It is very thin so slips into small pockets in my camera bag. I figured for 10 bucks, I'd be willing to risk it, i'm satisfied. Can't compare it to anything, never had one before.
Practical but sometimes frustrating February 26, 2010 Patrick Balaresque PRO's : Small, light, relatively cheap, very practical for family portraits and tripod-photography in general. It works out of the box with many models (have used it on the D70s, D60 and D90 without a problem) the only requirement is to set the shutter to "remote" mode
CON's : range. it can be a bit temperamental and seems to work better from in front of the camera. I've had to walk up to the camera, press the remote, and return (which is close to the "focus on run" method using only the camera's timer)
