Flip Tripod December 28, 2008 Carl Kuyath (Fergus Falls, Mn USA) I haven't found this kind of tripod very useful but I can understand when it would be favored over a traditional tripod. I prefer my traditional tripod most of the time because it has many adjustments and a bubble level to show my tripod is level. If space is a problem and you have a variety of surface heights to use, then the flip tripod would work fine. The legs are bendable and work independently and it does hold the flip camcorder steady.
Tiny...Portable...Easy to use w/ any camera December 27, 2008 Jodi B (Syracuse, NY)
I can set up a camera just about anywhere from any angle w. this little tripod...quickly and easily... fits easily in my purse...would prob fit in pocket...use it w/ my Flip and w/ my digital camera.
Terrible service December 26, 2008 JHF (Chicago, Illinois) 4 out of 10 found this review helpful
Retailer charged $15 to ship a $5 product. The product showed up late, and then blemed Amazon. AVOID this retailer.
Perfect Accessory December 22, 2008 Seth Harris Small light tripod that is easy to carry around which is perfect for use with the Flip to get some steady shots.
A real good thing to have around due to the weight and size, which is what the Flip itself is so good for.
Pretty useless December 22, 2008 Rory R. Mahoney (Pittsburgh, PA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This product is fine for views straight at scenes, creates a level steady view. However, this product would be much better if you could create angles without it tipping. Also, if the product would allow for swiveling that would be great.
